Robin V. Keebler

Robin Keebler, lovingly known as “Nina” to all who knew and loved her, passed away after a courageous battle with Stage IV colorectal cancer. A devoted follower of Christ, she reflected His grace, compassion, and sacrificial love in every aspect of her life. Robin dedicated herself to caring for others, always putting the needs of family, friends, and even strangers before her own. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith touched countless lives. Robin fought with remarkable strength, determination, and courage until the very end. Her greatest motivation was her love for her family. She treasured every moment spent with those she loved and never wanted to miss an opportunity to be part of their lives. Through every challenge, she remained steadfast , choosing hope, faith, and precious time with her family whenever possible. Robin found joy in life’s simple pleasures and had a special gift for making ordinary moments feel meaningful. She loved crafting, decorating, and creating warm, welcoming spaces for those she loved. One of her favorite traditions was keeping her Christmas tree up all year long, redecorating it for each season and holiday. She enjoyed watching birds from her window—especially cardinals—working on puzzles, and gathering around the card table with family and friends, where laughter and conversation were always abundant. And if a frozen margarita was involved, all the better. Above all, Robin cherished her family and friends, who meant everything to her. She poured her heart into creating memories, sharing love, and caring for those around her. Her legacy of love, selflessness, perseverance, faith, and unwavering devotion to her family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. Though she will be deeply missed, her example of courage, grace, and Christ-like love will remain an inspiration to those who carry her memory forward. Robin was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Dale Vander Wal and Marina Delores (Onder) Vander Wal. She is survived by her loving husband, Don Keebler; children, Ben (Diana) Harris of Cumming, GA., Liz (Brad) McGuire of Ball Ground, GA., Andrew (Christine) Harris of Asheville, N.C., Ashley (Brian) Robison of Jonesboro and Justin (Deanna) Keebler of Jonesboro; brother, Raymond “Skip” Vander Wal of Locust Grove; sister, Penny Toussaint of Flowery Branch, GA.; grandchildren, Kaden Harris, Carter Jones, Aubrey Jones, Stella McGuire, Kai McGuire, Abner Harris, Tobin Harris, Portland Harris, Zachariah Smith, Giana Robison, Abree Robison and Eden Keebler; nieces, Desiree West and Rebekah Reiner; nephew, Christopher Wright and extended family members. The family will have a private Memorial Service at a later date.
