Sarah Evans

Mrs. Sarah Evans, age 80, of Jonesboro passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2010. She was employed at Piccadilly Cafeteria, Southlake Mall, for 25 years. She was preceded in death by husband Harold W. Evans, Sr. and son Harold W. Evans, Jr. She is survived by children; Robert G. Cunningham of Jonesboro, GA, Catherine L. Burton of Plano, TX, James F. Evans of Milledgeville, GA, Virginia D. Delaney of Follansbee, WV, Donna M. Basil of Hot Springs, AR, Charles R. Evans of Brentwood, TN, Deborah M. Hodges of Garland, TX, and David W. Evans of Cochran, GA, sisters; Margaret Slasor of Weirton, WV, Patsy Willison of Jonesboro, GA, and Nancy Debatty of Jonesboro, GA, 16 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Russell Slasor officiating. Interment Camp Memorial Park.
