Mrs. Janice K. Vitale, age 69, of Jonesboro, passed away, August 5, 2012. She was a member of St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church. She ran the Peachtree Road Race seven times. She worked for the U.S. Army Crime Lab and Clayton County Parks and Recreation. She is survived by her husband; Robert, children; Jody (George) Cabral of Hampton, David Vitale of Locust Grove, Christine (Gregg) Jackson of Cumming, brothers; David (Lonnie) Mackin of Stockbridge, Stephen (Linda) Mackin of Stockbridge, sisters; Kathy Mackin of MA, Polly (Bart) Maguire of MA, Eileen Mackin of Atlanta, grandchildren; Seth Beck and Ryan Jackson. Funeral services will be held, Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at 10:30 AM at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church. Interment will be at Camp Memorial Park in Fayetteville. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
