Mrs. Madge Williams Brannen, age 91, of Jonesboro, passed away, July 9, 2012. She was a retired Clayton County teacher and school counselor, member of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro, teacher of the Dorcas Sunday School Class, member of the Women’s Educational Sorority, Delta Kappa Gamma, Gamma Alpha Chapter. She is survived by her children; Helene Brannen Hubbard, Claire Brannen (Larry) Stevens, Lucy Brannen (Mike) Brock, 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held, Friday, July 13, 2012 at 2 PM in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. Irvin Pearre will officiate. The family will receive friends the day of the service from 12:30-2 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Jonesboro City Cemetery.
