Mr. James Eugene Thompson, age 87, of Hampton, passed away, July 5, 2012. He is survived by his son and daughter in law; Matt and Pat Thompson of Hampton, grandchildren; Chad Davis, Scott Davis, great grandchildren; Brad Davis, Matthew Davis and Megan Davis. Funeral services will be held, Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 11 AM in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Pastor Mike Patterson will officiate. Interment will be at Jonesboro City Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
