Mr. Jackie “Jack” Edward Caudle, age 84, of Jonesboro, passed away, June 26, 2012. He was born April 12, 1928, in Oneonta, Alabama to the late Derow and Elizabeth Caudle. He retired from the U.S. Air Force as a SMSGT, and retired from the Atlanta Federal Penitentiary. He loved to make walking sticks and giving them away. Many people in the Jonesboro area owe their walking sticks to him. He never knew a stranger and was generous to all. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years; Jan, children; Pamela (Bill) Ward of Griffin, Jack E., Jr. (Teresa) Caudle of AL, Beverly Caudle of Atlanta, Sandra (Jett) Alexander of Jackson, brother; Raymon (Kathleen) Caudle, sister; Sarah Vaughn, grandchildren; Greg Ward, Rachel Alexander, Matt Alexander and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 29, 2012 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. No service is planned.
