Service – Ford Stewart Funeral Home, Jonesboro, GA - 2:00pm, with interment at Sherwood.

Mr. Geary Alan Sosebee of Concord, a devoted and protective husband, loving father and grandfather, passed away June 20, 2012 shortly after 5pm. Geary was most proud of his family, his service to the country as a Marine, and his accomplishments as a top Sales Consultant with Ford Motor Company. He was well-loved in the community and highly respected. Geary was a generous, sensitive and compassionate man to all who were fortunate enough to truly know him. He counseled and enriched the lives of numerous individuals.

Geary’s belief in God and faith sustained him through his most difficult trials and tribulations. His daily prayer was to be reunited with his daughters, Holly and Amy, and he asked the Lord to provide guidance and protection for his family. Memories of fishing with his daughters gave him comfort and hope for a future reunion.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00pm at Ford Stewart Funeral Home in Jonesboro, Rev Dennis Bellamy officiating. Interment will be near his mother at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home Saturday from 5pm – 8pm. Geary is survived by his wife, Mary, two beautiful daughters Holly and Amy Sosebee and one grandchild of North Carolina, three exceptional step daughters, Roni Barker of Smyrna, Kathryn Tam and husband Dennis of Newnan and Leslee Barker and fiancé Doug of Hiram, his father Albert Sosebee of Riverdale, sister Dianne Cassell and husband Ronald, brother David and wife Angie, niece Barbara Irby and husband Robert. He was preceded in death by his mother Barbara
