Mrs. Virginia Winge Hicks, age 88, passed away, June 20, 2012. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro. She is survived by her son and daughter in law; Preston E. and Joan W. Hicks of Jonesboro, grandchild; Valorie Leigh Hicks McDonald and her spouse Christopher, great grandchildren; Samantha Catherine McDonald and Emily Elizabeth McDonald. Funeral services will be held, Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 2 PM at First Baptist Church of Jonesboro. She will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church. Rev. Irvin Pearre will officiate. Interment will be at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends, Friday, June 22, 2012 from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
